Alongside this, in the global search for potential COVID-19 medicines, we are evaluating our marketed pharmaceutical products and medicines in development to determine if any could be used beyond their current indications in response to the pandemic.
We are also supporting a range of global and local initiatives. This includes our $10m donation to the World Health Organisation and UN Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, as well as partnerships to make our vaccines adjuvant technology available in multiple COVID-19 vaccine research programmes.
For patients who have been identified by the Government as vulnerable, such as those with severe asthma, we are helping by enabling self-administration at home. This allows them to follow Government advice to stay home where possible, whilst continuing to access the care and medicines they need.
