YourNucala Homecare
Providing the NHS with an enhanced service allowing appropriate severe asthma patients treated with mepolizumab greater choice, and independence.
The GSK-funded Nucala homecare medicines service has supported over 3,500 patients since it was established in 2018 to alleviate pressure on NHS severe asthma clinics.1 The service is available to support severe asthma patients prescribed Nucala pre-filled formulations to transition to at-home self-administration, once deemed appropriate by their prescribing clinician helping them regain a more normal lifestyle.

YourNucala App
The NHS Digital approved YourNucala app is an optional patient support app for those prescribed Nucala pre-filled pen in a home setting.
Whether your patients are new to self-administering Nucala or are established, the YourNucala app can support your patients stay on track with their treatment, aiding self-administration at home.

Injection reminders and log
Patients can set reminders for their Nucala injections helping them stay on track with their Nucala treatment between clinic visits. Logging the date, time, and site also helps to remind patients to rotate their injection site.
Step-by-step injection guides
Once training on Nucala injection techniques has taken place, patients have access to step-by-step instructions via the YourNucala app on how to use the Nucala pre-filled pen. Provided in both video and written format to best suit the learning style of your patient, helping them inject from home with confidence.
Disease and medicine FAQs
The YourNucala app contains FAQs containing additional information on Nucala and the wider disease area. The Learn section aims to improve patients' understanding of their Nucala treatment, as well as overall knowledge of their disease.
