Dr Khan is the clinical lead for the airways disease service (Asthma & COPD) at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. He qualified from Manchester University in 2007 and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He was appointed consultant & senior lecturer in Respiratory Medicine in 2017.
