Katie Borg

Respiratory Nurse Specialist, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals

Katie is a specialist asthma nurse for the Severe Asthma Service at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and a clinical research nurse for the University of Oxford. She has helped develop Oxford into an NHS England commissioned Severe Asthma Centre by setting up and running specialist services, including biologics, specialist adherence and nurse-led clinics. She also currently coordinates seven clinical trials, which are a mixture of academic and industry studies. She is a member of the Integrated Severe Asthma Nursing Network and the Association of Respiratory Nurse Specialists. Previously she has gained an MSc in nursing practice and a BA in Human Sciences at the University of Oxford.
