Co-presenters: Prof. Jean-Paul Stahl (Independent Expert), Yan Sergerie (GSK)

Jean-Paul Stahl is professor emeritus of Infectious Diseases at the University and CHU of Grenoble. He is editor-in-chief of the journal Médecine et Maladies Infectieuses. He is responsible for the recommendations group within SPILF.

He has been and still is an expert in several government agencies (AFSSAPS, HAS, ANSES, Santé Publique France).

Yan Sergerie, PhD joined GSK 11 years ago as a National Scientific Lead in the Canadian Vaccine division. During this time, he held several roles within medical affairs across the pharma and vaccine departments in various countries including Canada, France and Belgium where he is currently a Global Director, Medical Affairs focusing on maternal immunisation against pertussis and healthy aging.

Dr. Claudia López Enríquez is a Pediatric Infectious Diseases specialist in the Infectious diseases unit of the Hospital Español. She has a Masters’ in Medical Education from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), a Masters’ in Infection Control form Universität Barcelona and a Diploma in Vaccinology from the Carlos Slim Foundation. She is a member of the Mexican Association of infectiology and clinical microbiology (AMIMC)

Dra. Gloria Huerta García is a Pediatric Infectious Diseases Specialist with a Masters’ in science from UNAM, a Masters’ in HIV from the University Rey Juan Carlos Madrid Spain. She is a Member of the Mexican Academy of Pediatrics and a Medical Manager of Vaccines at GSK Mexico

Experience with MenB vaccination in Germany: results from large survey amongst pediatricians

Co-presenters: Dr. Ralph Köllges (Independent Expert), Markus Kirchner (GSK)

Ralph Köllges is a paediatrician from Mönchengladbach, Germany and works there in his own paediatric practice since many years. He is a member of the state board of the paediatric society “Bundesverband der Kinder- und Jugendärzte e.V.” in North-Rhine, Germany and is the focal point in conducting the study “Experience with MenB vaccination in Germany”.

Markus Kirchner is a medical doctor and master in public health. He is specialized in infectious disease epidemiology and has worked in this field in different organizations like the World Health Organization in Copenhagen or the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin. Markus Kirchner joined working for GSK four years ago and is currently heading the Medical Affairs Vaccines Team in Munich, Germany.

On Monday 26ᵗʰ October 13:00 – 14:30 CET, GSK will host a scientific satellite symposium about the real-world experience with 4CMenB in different countries.  A panel of five international experts will discuss how 4CMenB performed in different countries and in different populations against invasive meningococcal disease caused by serogroup B.
