Prof. Stephen Lane PhD, FRCPI, FRCP (London), FCCP is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Tallaght University Hospital, Peamount Healthcare, and Professor of Respiratory Medicine at Trinity College Dublin. He is the Chair of the Clinical Advisory Group (CAG) of the National Clinical Programmes (NCP) for Asthma and COPD. Prof. Lane and colleagues run a very busy clinical service across the Tallaght and Peamount sites. He is involved in national and international collaborations and runs active clinical trial programme in severe and difficult to treat asthma. His other main interest is severe COPD and and colleaues run an active inpatient and outpatient COPD pulmonary rehabilitation program at both Tallaght and Peamount.
