The approach to asthma is ever-changing, especially with the onset of new data and changes in the current asthma management guidelines. Mild asthma in particular has proven to be a complicated matter. Knowing that inflammation and airway remodelling continues to be present across all severities of asthma (even mild asthma), it is imperative to address these underlying issues along with symptom control and exacerbation reduction. This launch of the shingles vaccine aims to discuss the burden of shingles and the importance of prevention in older adults and immunocompromised populations.
