Maternal Anti-HBVs Suppress the immune Response of Infants to Hepatitis B Vaccine

A recent study reports that high titres of maternal anti-HBV antibodies (anti-HBVs) may pass across the placenta, subsequently suppressing the immune response of infants to the standard HBV vaccination.
