Dr Christine Watson

Critical Care Consultant and Deputy Head of Service for
Critical Care at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust

Dr Christine Watson is a Consultant in Adult Critical Care at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. She is one of the Clinical Leads for Critical Care and the Critical Care Outreach Team within Nottingham and played a significant role in preparing the Trust for the COVID pandemic response. In addition, Christine is a member of the Women in Intensive Care Medicine Committee (WICM) a sub-committee of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine - a group of intensive care doctors working together across the UK to promote intensive care medicine as a career choice irrespective of gender. Dr Watson has an interest in Clinical Leadership and Management with particular emphasis on closing the gender gap within medical leadership.
