Prof Morgan was formally the National Clinical Director for Respiratory Services in England and Chair of the Clinical Reference Group for Respiratory Specialised Commissioning. He is also a past President and Chairman of the British Thoracic Society. He has also been a trustee of the British Lung Foundation and the editor of Chronic Respiratory Disease.
